【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestwomethodsforthedeterminationoftotalorganiccarbon(TOC)inundriedwastesamplescontainingmorethan1gcarbonperkgofdrymatter(0.1%w/w).Whenpresent,elementarycarbon,carbides,cyanides,cyanates,isocyanatesandthiocyanatesmaybedeterminedasorganiccarbonusingthemethodsdescribedinthisstandard.Aninterpretationofthemeasuredvaluemaythereforebeproblematicalincaseswherethewastecontainshighlevelsoftheabovementionedcomponents.Ifneeded,theyhavetobedeterminedseparately.

【摘要】:Frictioncharacteristicsoftraveledsurfacesaremonitoredbyskidmeasurementsystems,andtheoperatingprocedurefortheuseofthesesystemsisTestMethodE274.However,dynamicmeasurementdifferencesbetweenthesesystems,thatcomplywiththerequirementsofTestMethodE274,requirethateachofthesesystemsbecorrelatedtoeachothersystem.Themosteffectiveapproachtoaccomplishthiscorrelationistocompareeachsystemtoasingular,highlyaccuratesystem,ortoaverylimitednumber(twoorthree)ofsystems,inacontrolledenvironment.TheARSMSrsquo;weredesignedtobesuchsystems.Fig.1depictsaskidmeasurementsystemandshowsthegenerallocationofthemajorcomponents.ThisguidedefinestheprocessofensuringthattheARSMSrsquo;continuetoaccomplishtheirintendedpurpose.FIG.1SkidMeasurementSystem1.1Thisguidecoversvalidatingareareferenceskidmeasurementsystems(ARSMS)andrelatedequipment.Thesesystemshavebeenusedsince1976toevaluateandcorrelateTestMethodE274skidmeasurementsystemsusedprimarilyasapavementmanagementtoolbystateDepartmentsofTransportation.Also,thisguideprovidesguidelinesfortherevalidationprocessfollowingthereplacementofcomponentswithinanARSMS.1.2Thisguideisofferedasaprocesstoidentifyandquantifythevariablesthataffectsystemperformance,tominimizetheeffectofthesevariables,andtoprovideamethodofvalidatinganewARSMStoreplaceanexistingARSMSthathasprovidedqualitycorrelationdataforaverylongtime.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardsincetheARSMSwillbecomparedwithstatedepartmentsoftransportationsystemsthatallcurrentlyuseinch-poundunits.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
