Scope:This document establishes the minimum requirements for an environmental test chamber, and test procedures to carry out anti-icing performance tests according to the current materials specification for aircraft deicing/anti-icing fluids. The primary purpose for such a test method is to determine the anti icing endurance under controlled laboratory conditions of AMS1424 Type I and AMS1428 Type II, III, and IV.MIL-S-16032M, MILITARY SPECIFICATION: SWITCHES AND DETECTORS, SHIPBOARD ALARM SYSTEMS (29 JUN 1987)., This specification covers pressure, temperature, thermostatic, door, water, liquid level, liquid flow, and airflow switches, and single-purpose (smoke or combustion gas) detectors and flame detectors used on Naval ships for visual and audible alarm systems (that is, systems utilizing indicator lights, sirens, bells, alarm panels) in conjunction with steam or air systems, diesel engines, turbines, auxiliary machinery. This specification is not intended to cover thermostatic or pressure operated switches used as operating controls , unless interconnected with an alarm system or specifically required by other primary equipment specifications.
