【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoelectricironsforhouseholdorsimilaruse.Thepurposeofthisstandardistostateanddefinetheprincipalperformancecharacteristicsofelectricironsforhouseholdorsimilarusewhichareofinteresttotheuserandtodescribethestandardmethodsformeasuringthesecharacteristics.Electricironscoveredbythisstandardinclude-dryirons;-steamirons;-sprayirons;-steamironswithseparatewaterreservoirorboiler/generatorhavingacapacitynotexceeding5I.Thisstandardisconcernedneitherwithsafetynorwithperformancerequirements.NOTETheprimarycharacteristictobetakenintoaccountinassessingtheperformanceofanelectricironisitsbasicabilitytoproduceasmoothfinishtotextilematerials,withoutriskofscorchingorotherdamage.Ithasnotprovedpossibletodeviseasinglemethodwhichwillmeasurethischaracteristicinaconsistentlyreproduciblewayandmeasurementshavethereforebeenincludedtocheckcertainfactors,suchasthetemperatureofthesole-plateatthemid-point,sole-platetemperaturedistribution,etc.,whichaffectthebasiccharacteristic.Inevaluatingtheresults,itmustberealizedthat,whileaveryexceptionalresultinanyoneofthemmaysignificantlyaffectperformance,thereisconsiderablelatitudeinthecombinationofresultswhichwillgivesatisfactoryironingperformance,andtoomuchsignificanceshouldnotbeattachedtominordifferencesinanyoneresult.
