【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiestestmethodsandminimumperformancerequirementsforreflectiveprotectiveclothingusedinspecializedfire-fighting.Thisclothingprovidesprotectionagainstflamelickandintenseradiantheatandiswornforshortperiodsonly,toenablethefire-fightertoenterspecifichigh-riskfire-fightingandfirerescuesituationswhichalsorequiretheuseofbreathingapparatusandhead,handandfootprotection.Thisstandardonlycoversprotectiveclothingthatreliesupontheabilityoftheoutermaterialtoreflectintenseradiantheat.Thistypeofreflectiveclothingmayalsobeusedforindustrialapplicationsinvolvinghighlevelsofradiantheat.ThereflectiveclothingspecifiedinthisstandardisnotcoveredinEN469.Non-reflectiveprotectiveclothingasspecifiedinEN469mayalsobeusedforspecializedfire-fightingapplicationsinconjunctionwithappropriatehead,hand,footandrespiratoryprotection.
